The LTP Team
The LACROSSETHEPOND team is a group of lacrosse enthusiasts who have come together to make a difference to the sport they love. The students who enroll in our Masters Programs in the UK will benefit from a wide range of skills and experiences that, when integrated, enable us to provide a comprehensive service of the highest quality. As a result, we are able to make the LTP programme a positive and life-affirming experience for all those who join us.
On the team, we have current and past international lacrosse players, internationally-experienced coaches, college lecturers, academic advisors and international entrepreneurs so that all aspects of the LTP programme are effectively and professionally managed.
Our UK-based team will handle all aspects of your application from helping you to shortlist suitable academic and lacrosse programmes to liaising with your chosen universities on your behalf. We will handle all the logistics with regards to your accommodation needs and will provide local support throughout the duration of the program. In Chris Russell, we have a parent’s liaison who is on hand to ensure the students are looked after to the highest ability. As a father of 2 boys who have moved to The US to study (undergrad and postgrad), he is ideally placed to understand the process from a parent’s perspective and can advise families accordingly.
In The US we are proud to have Dr Henry (Skip) Flanagan on our team as Director of US Operations. Dr Flanagan boasts an unprecedented lacrosse and educational resume including undergrad and postgrad degrees from powerhouses including Harvard, Michigan, Rutgers and Princeton. Skip has worked in the education sector for 50 years in senior roles (up to Dean-level) at prestigious institutions including Avon Old Farms and Western Reserve Academy and as such, his passion and understanding for developing young people through academia and athletics is second-to-none. Skip also serves on the board of the Tewaarton Foundation. Skip is available to talk with potential students and parents about the LTP opportunity and how a Masters Degree from a UK institution can benefit a young athlete’s life.
